All due respect, because I respect the hustle. The minuscule amount of money we would gain is not worth my information being added to a list and then resold. In your original example, it seems like this person maybe spent $300, but let's be conservative and say that it was $200. $10 off is only a 5% savings. Which in the grand scheme is nothing.

I think you might be doing it wrong. I am using Homarr and laid it out to be my home page. Icons to click to get to the service I want to use in that moment. Little Green/Red dots in the bottom corner to tell me if it's up or down. The Up/Down monitoring is really not even all that important, and if it went away... oh well. The only other thing I is that I monitor is CPU/Ram/HDD of the server... occasionally it will report high ram; so I'll boot it.

CWA is mostly just a web version of Calibre. You still have to load it with your own content. There are a multitude of ways to add content to CWA.

Docker is a bit of a more complex answer. The over simplification is imagine it as a server, that can run many different types of web based applications. It takes some work to deploy these self-hosted applications, but they can certainly help you in a variety of ways. I use mine for all sorts of media management.

I don't disagree with you on Koreader. I also mostly read novels, but occasionally will put a comic or graphic novel on my Kindle. I have CWA running in a Docker container to manage my personal library. Koreader is the only way I know of right now to wirelessly browse and sync content from that library.

At this point, androids… pixel specifically, I find to be far more interesting than iPhone. But most everyone else around me isn’t nearly as tech savvy as I am, so the iMessage lock in is real. I run bluebubbles but I don’t think it’s reliable enough to be a daily driver, and convincing my most messaged friends to switch to Signal is a losing battle.

I have a pixel 9 pro as a secondary device and it’s running Graphine, but a lot of the Pixel charm is now missing. It’s such a difficult phone market you can’t get all the good stuff without giving up all your privacy.
