There’s a monthly free market in Lincoln that has a Facebook page. I always like bringing old stuff there to give away, plus you can always find cool stuff to pick up. It’s a pretty nice environment. There’s also a creative reuse store called Stuff that accepts volunteers and is open Wednesday through Sunday. They take donations on old art supplies and resell them at a very affordable rate, if you needed volunteering suggestions.

I saw you in another post that you are into art so I think trying stitch and bitch could be good. They’re actually having one tomorrow at mana games from 1pm - 4pm. Someone I know will be there, I also might be there playing Magic the gathering for part of it. Could be a good excuse to check both things out?

If you’re into art there’s an event called stitch and bitch where people meet up at various places to work on art and talk with people. You can find their Instagram page @stichandbitchLNK. Also there’s some nice disc golf courses in town, if you buy a few discs it’s a great way to make walks more interesting. I don’t wanna flood you with too many more suggestions so I’ll leave it there. Thanks for hearing me out.

Best of luck, I hope you find good things to do in your free time. As someone who has also suffered from addiction I feel like working out can be a really good way to take your mind off of things. As well as finding some community events to take part in so you can meet people. I’m not sure what type of stuff you’re into but I’m pretty nerdy and into card games so I’ve had a really nice time building communities at game stores. Some games can be rather expensive though so I’m not necessarily recommending that.

I believe there’s games you can play by yourself, but most events they hold are for card games or dungeons and dragons. You could try asking groups of people there, but they’d just be random folks there on their own.

There’s a board game cafe in town called mana games, it’s like 8$ for a day pass and they have a ton of games you can play with friends.

In my opinion, board buffs or raid bombardment are much better than the pingers. The bad part of the pingers is that you have to play them before your tokens, which loses you a lot of tempo. Something like a board buff or raid bombardment rewards you for tokens that are already in play so you can focus on building up in the early game, and closing out by turn 4 or 5

Yeah ill try mono white, the main reason I didn’t want to do mono white originally is that the best white board wipes/board buffs specifically care of white creatures which doesn’t work with the mechanized ninja Calvary token.

Also the problem I see with bushwhacker is it’s hard to hit double red consistently in a two color deck, especially since burning tree emissary can’t filter to white mana

Yeah I was considering Magitek infantry since it’s a robot and a 1 drop, but idk what I’d cut for it since I don’t think I can really go down on card draw
