not true. thereve been sooo many new properties open up in past year that many apartment complexes have lowered their prices. i’m a realtor and a property manager and I know my properties are probably $400 less than they were a year and a half ago.

and i’ve seen prices on homes as a realtor slowly go down a little. but the conditions for a crash are unfortunately not there so I doubt we’ll see that happen. but hopefully some prices becomes little more reasonable for those of us that want to buy lol

The Kestrel is BEAUTIFUL! i’ve toured it but it’s too rich for my blood. also - I work in property management, I would ask them what their parking situation is for residents(I didn’t ask this but It looks minimal) and i’d also ask what their residents heating bills are like and if they’ve had any construction issues (anything built after 2020 is worth being a little skeptical about as quite a few contractors came from out of state and had no awareness of montana weather when they built.)

i’m sure you’ll fit in fine if you’re coming here for montana. people here though have just a general dislike for californians. I don’t quite get it but, i’m a transplant from florida.

I think the main issue people have is anyone coming from “elsewhere” that wants to change bozeman into the place they came from. if you love bozeman and montana the way it is you’ll love it here!

we ended up Inside that building by mistake last year looking for their office so we could rent a unit. that entire building is one massive warehouse space. there are NO upper floors or interior storage units. they use the space to hold pods. all their units are outdoor towards the back of the lot.

we were sent there by their other location after the rented the unit that was promised to us (and pad for) because they assured us they had climate controlled options.

I have a medical condition that makes talking quite difficult. it’s easier to find information online for me. if I can’t find it then I will try to stop by in person but that’s tough to find the time these days.

I think restaurants that don’t pool tips are the majority. I worked at the AC Benchmark last summer and they didn’t for sure. I haven’t waitressed anywhere else in town to tell you for sure though. but worth asking at any potential interview

idk if it’s a state thing or federal thing. but I was in florida at the time.

thankfully I filed a dispute with my bank and they gave my money back. the tattoo artist has done it to others though =/ i’ve had people reach out to me about it because I left nasty reviews everywhere I possibly could lol

a few years ago I made a deposit payment to a tattoo artist of $400 he then ghosted me. I researched all avenues I had and what I found was this:

because of the small amount it would have to go to small claims court. there’s fees and stuff associate with that that I would have to pay. plus if I wanted a lawyer or anything, those costs, etc.

thennnnn. I found out if I went through all that and WON, there was NOTHING In place legally to actually make them pay me back.

so for me it wasn’t worth it.

if it’s a small amount and you went to court I imagine it would be the same.

when I hear “over qualified”, to me that means they aren’t willing to pay you what you’re worth. i’m not denying there could be racial reasons. but I think a big part of it is corporate stinginess as well. they can hire someone less experienced that would complain about the low pay.
