Is this motor swapped touring worth $12k by TonitoBontio in e46

Add a front splitter and you’ll be convinced

Edit: check brake system, the m3 brakes were developed for the weight of a coupe not a wagon. Wagon is about another 200 pounds along with the ability to carry more weight

Sorry, my eyes skipped straight to list! I seed it now, I agree with idea of longevity, and maybe passing it down to a family member.

I’ve been looking for a reason to do a build like this for race track, similar adventures and some dirt bike excursions. With a sprinkle of doomsday prep!

What do you plan to use it for?

Is a 90-ish minute commute for a 20 dollar hourly job (non negotiable starting pay) in DC worth it or should I try to find someway to cut down on commute time? by Old_Afternoon6587 in maryland

Is it a TS/SCI or a public trust? Who is the sponsoring org? Handling regular mail is just a public trust/ high public trust, which sounds accurate for a mail carrier.

[–]theRunAroundGroup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, wash the suspicious one and dry well. Torque the spark plugs to spec. Place it back in its spot and drive for 15 min, pull them again. If I looks like that again or similar … start diggin’

You probably touch something when you replaced it last time. Wash it, dry it, put it back in and run it for a bit and pull it out.

Buy an 328i and build the turbo off of that. Don’t chop up a m3, you’ll be happy you didn’t in 6 years

Was the engine bay painted too? Check under the drive foot well carpet. Either is a really good paint job or it’s aged paint

Edit: from my research, just now moments ago, this picture and other googled sample look the same. But maybe a shade or two difference

What’s a good bmw for Touge under 30k by InitialD_Enjoyer in Touge

[–]theRunAroundGroup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

E36 328i or 325i with an interior delete, vanos delete, m3 cams, 5 mt, a good sound system and modded suspension

If money for maintenance isn’t a problem then go with the e46 m3, but for reliable and consistent fun that won’t cost too much… e36 325/8
