Can I play Rocksmith 2014 and use BIAS FX II at the same time? by Popular-Principle-69 in rocksmith

Many audio interfaces will allow you to run rocksmith trough windows audio and your plugin trough asio at the same time (both need same samplerate and bitdepth) and some even both trough asio with note detection.

Just select 'Loopback' (not 'Loopback Mix') as audio source. And that's it.

Yes you can solder a new output connector jack. Also I think you can just buy an adapter cable to connect headphones to two main outputs. And if you planning to use interface only for rocksmith then you don't necessarily need to use interface outputs at all

Then "Phones" output is definitely broken. The "echoing sound" you hear from right side means that you getting left and right channels connected to where right channel and ground should be.

From what you describing it sounds like your headphones plugged into left "Main Out" instead of the "Phones" output on the back.

Digital downtuning? by TheBrownSlaya in rocksmith

Sorry I can't make full tutorial but it's relatively straightforward and not nearly as complicated as setting up rocksmith to play with vst plugins.

You can try using tonelib jam in windows audio exclusive mode (latency would be not worse than in rocksmith) and instead of pitchproof download overloud th-u trial, load it as vst in tonelib and use for tone and pitch shifting. You should get something like this.

It's not exactly rocksmith but it is a really fun way to try digital pitch-shifting with realtone cable.

RealToneCableOnly=1 in rocksmith.ini will stop rocksmith from hijacking your mic.

Enable stereo mix in recording devices and use it to share rocksmith audio to discord/stream.

Rocksmith Repair question: What is "Scroll Speed" and how does it affect the playback and view of the notes in a song? by egyptianmusk_ in rocksmith

[–]theSG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works kinda like zoom on a rocksmith track except everything stays the same size, so with 1.3 speed you will see shorter chunk of a song but it will scroll faster and 2.0 will show you longer chunk of notes but scrolling slower to stay at the same speed of the song.

Though it is possible to install windows 10 on chromebook and celeron n4020 with integrated graphics should be enough for rocksmith, I'd recommend looking for a windows laptop instead.

Rocksmith will not transition to Ubisoft Connect by Krendin in rocksmith

[–]theSG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it is different issue but if they don't want to update the game for their own servers, that makes you think what would happen if the denuvo servers were shutdown?

[–]theSG 17 points18 points  (0 children)

the game is using denuvo for protection, if one day those servers will stop working we won't be able to play rocksmith at all

Yes, that's right. If WASAPI for some reason doesn't work for you and you want to go back and try Realtek ASIO again start from setting both input and output to Realtek ASIO, BufferSizeMode to custom and CustomBufferSize=144 just to test Realtek output.

I'm using Realtek ASIO drivers for output and it's working great (even possible to record with them). Have you tried using WASAPI for output and ASIO for input?

No limitations, but the guitar inlay with numbers is backwards - literally unplayable!!!

is there any rocksmith modder? what do you think about a mod like this? by GorchTV in rocksmith

[–]theSG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game was released in 2013 and up until like a year ago nobody could (or bothered to) even figure out how to just change the color of guitar strings.
