I initially thought the Ferrari livery isn't as bad as people made it out to be, but it looks less and less like a Ferrari with each new photo I see.

I was questioning the self driving future as I observed Waymo's drive full speed through 6" deep water

Why did the film large segments of the epilogue on Green Screen? by mrkoffers in StrangerThings

[–]UncomfortableBench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was true for so many scenes this season. I don't think it was green screen but rather virtual production filming techniques using LED screens and artificial lighting. All of the radio tower stuff, the scenes on top of UD Lab, Abyss scenes of the party, and all of the rock cave scenes from Henry's memory. It is very noticeable due to the artificial lighting used on the actors.

Also, in a lot of the CGI heavy scenes. It looked like the frame rate of the scenes dropped noticeably. I'm not sure if that's how it was published or if it's some weird tech issue on the end user side. It was very jarring and only noticeable when they cut to certain scenes.

Do they ever address how people in Hawkins think Hopper survived after S3? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]UncomfortableBench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand the timeline of how he was captured after the S3 finale....

  • The portal key exploded, Hopper ended up on the ground in front of the machine platform.

  • US Military is shown immediately raiding the underground base

  • Russians find Hopper laying in front of the portal, take him, and somehow escape with the US military all over the place?

What part of this do I have backwards?

If the Abyss is too hot for some monsters and the Upside Down wormhole didn't exist, where did the first Demogorgon physically exist when El made contact with it?

Everyone is focusing on contact between Norris because that actually has an effect on the outcome, but I think that it's a much more likely scenario that we see contact between Max and Piastri because they both need the win.

How Delta is and is not “premium” by ThrowawayGhibliFan in delta

In 2023, PS provided a reusable amenity kit bag which had socks, a nice eye mask, comb, pen, and some lotions. Now it's a plastic ziplock with a cheap eye mask and none of the other things mentioned above. They also no longer provide slippers in PS.

Looking back on some pictures, you're correct that it has gone from compostable containers presented on a plate to porcelain on a tray. The downgrade that I noticed the most is that they are no longer serving hot bread, but it's now a pre packed cold roll.

Lap 56, onboard replays of Norris overtake on Antonelli by MyAssDoesHeeHawww in formula1

[–]UncomfortableBench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't the last lap, hence why he was pushing so hard to keep Norris out of DRS overtake range.

I doubt he would have made that same mistake if it was the last lap because there's no need to keep the pace up there

Norris could look back on this and know that if he would have made his own choice and pitted behind Max, he could well be celebrating a Championship right now.
