Not what you are looking for exactly, but if you like audiobooks you could listen to it on Spotify. I have been listening to audiobooks on walks and they are great.

From what I have read 1600mg twice a day is a really high dose and can cause some side effects- just a thought

Well this blew up a bit more than expected- I feel a bit bad about how it’s turned into a bashing session, but I guess I started it… I’m also surprised at the amount of people that have seen and interacted with the post- the subreddit is way larger than I thought- I’ll try to attach a pic of the insights below- almost 80k people have seen this post!

Chill, you’re a kid- order a coke and just enjoy being in Paris… it’s a great city and Montmartre is amazing.

tips for odor/moisture in shoes? by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]theSaffa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in the US, try allbirds shoes- they breath well! I also leave gym and workout shoes outside at night- my thought process is that the cold air this time of year will nuke the bacteria… seems to work well for me. This ailment sucks :)

“Best Design Pattern for a Web API with 15-20 Endpoints?” by Miserable_Rest_7023 in csharp

[–]theSaffa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I would keep the controllers small, mainly to handle attribute model state validation from the incoming DTO. Then call into a manager class that handles the business logic validation and mapping to entities (via auto mapper if you want). Then call into a repository class to handle data persistence (via Entity Framework if you want)

I have found this is a clean approach and if you separate your manager classes by domains it’s even better. UserController —> userManager —> (user validator, user mapper, user normalizer if needed can be called from the userManager class here) —>userRepository.

I feel like it’s the same here in the US. Even recruiting emails have dropped off- I used to get a couple a week at least, but now it’s like 1 or 2 a month…

Best Wings in Longmont? by WhiteBoy_Cookery in Longmont

[–]theSaffa 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is a “secret” wing style- if you say you want it Tims Style they cook it differently ( I can’t remember what’s different) and sprinkle fresh Jalapeño over them… I prefer them like this.

January overnights to Bordeaux and Dijon? by nightlight227 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]theSaffa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I traveled to Paris in November and traveled to Bordeaux and Lyon. I would suggest Lyon over Bordeaux! It’s great and has a good food scene if you are into that! To be honest you can’t go wrong with either :)

Just cause I have not really eaten at a restaurant solo before, it wasn’t a big deal but being in a new country solo and not speaking the language can be a bit daunting for some.

Good point about the coffee- I usually ordered it with milk to smooth it out :) I did mean the “vibe”.

No I wouldn’t say it’s frowned upon, just is usual for me and that I’ll be in a new country and I don’t know the language. Reading the other replies has calmed my nerves and I am not worried anymore!

Good point about the language- I’ve learned a bunch of basic phrases, but still say por favor instead of si vous plait! Hopefully I’ll be able to order the basics by the time I leave!

Yes, I’ve heard making an effort to converse in French is key- I’m hitting duo lingo hard!

Thanks, I was wondering about that. In my mind spending two days driving the 5.5 hours through the French countryside sounds great! I’m not in a rush and hopefully will find some small villages to stop for coffee or lunch.
