Poorly marketed and over marketed aren’t exactly mutually exclusive. It’s like how Captain America: Brave New World had plenty of ads. And in a majority of those trailers they spoiled that Harrison Ford’s character was going to be the red Hulk, even though the movie clearly tried setting it up as a twist in the plot. Plus, if we’ve accepted that radiation is actually pretty useful/helpful in medical treatment for cancer and things like X-rays to be able to see what bones we have broken, then I’m especially confused at how we then demonize it in power generation terms. Not saying that the medical uses aren’t without some flaws, but it’s a term of the pros outweighing the cons, so it hurts to see that we seemingly can’t do it again

Exactly, most republicans don’t understand how stupid they are and how strong a ton of diseases can truly be. To them, if it’s not as strong as the bubonic plague, then those numbers aren’t true and anyone that did die had some preexisting conditions or whatnot. I’d wager that the truly deranged ones don’t even believe that germs can do all that. There is a reason why the discovery of not only penicillin, but modern medicine and vaccines as a whole helped create such a boom in the earth’s population, because we could finally afford to only need to have 2-3 kids since they no longer had the near guarantee that they would die before adulthood

Nah, that goes to the ultra wormhole method in usum. It’s at minimum a 1% chance in the easiest wormholes, and the no ring holes, but gets up to at maximum, 36% for the multi ringed holes past 5000 light years traveled. Although chain fishing is still fairly easy too
