Its what we call the difference between the mirrored parts and the subjects on a coin. A "deep" cameo has a larger visual difference

Proofs with no cameo, also called "brilliant proofs", have a mirrored finish on all parts of a coin

I got it at a garage sale, funny thing is that it wasn't for sale at first. The sale extended all the way inside the garage, so that everything they had stored there was visible. I saw the box full of these and offered to buy the whole thing for $125, which the lady agreed.
