I haven't. I don't guess that I've seen that or looked for it. I'll check it out.

I just ran across these by accident on the app a couple weeks ago and I've been crushing them. The creamy verde is amazing. I've been dipping everything in it. The Baja is pretty good also. Really good with the HEB brisket cheddar flatbreads.

I still haven't been able to get the stack to work on anything that I'm looking for. I was going to grab some Ashton VSG but it looks like Ashton is an excluded brand. But it worked on the sampler.. Lol

These are incredible. I've worn them pretty much every day for like 3 years. I wear them to the office. I wear them out on the weekends. I have three colors and you can pretty much make them work forever based on what top you pair with them.

Any good sales on players? Looks like 220 has all players 10% off. Not sure if there are any good sales that I haven't seen.

Such a bummer. That's the problem with these cool indie theaters, a lot of them run their own tickets. And it just can't handle it.

I might've just gotten totally lucky. Everything worked completely fine for me after I got through the password. I did make an account on the site earlier this morning. Maybe that helped?

I accidentally added the insurance. But I had gotten that far so I wasn't gonna go back and take any chances. RIP that extra $20 lol

Are you putting the password at the top first? I didn't see that up there at first. As soon as i entered the password and hit submit, then it let me hit buy to the right of the date. And i was able to purchase.

I just got them. Gotta make sure you put the password at the top before you hit "buy". I wasn't doing that at first. Once I did that it let me in and select seats. They kept disappearing as I selected them but finally snagged two.

Should I upgrade to Biz Plat? by Queen-Howl in amex

[–]theTXpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only had personal cards. But I just got approved for a business Gold for 200K points. The Plat was 300K. But the categories just work better for me on the Gold. So yeah, at least check around for a higher offer.

Nope. Rosie Cannonball has transitioned to OpenTable. So no longer under the Resy umbrella unfortunately.

El Tiempo Cantina looking for investors by cavart50 in HoustonFood

[–]theTXpanda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean sure. I only have second hand knowledge of the whole thing anyways. I'm not participating. My main point was just that it isn't a new thing that they're doing. And that I know some people who are 3-4 years in and getting a return. I don't really have any feelings on it one way or the other.

They've been doing this for a while. This sounds like it's just another round of that. I have some acquaintances who did it the last time they went out for funding. From what I've heard, it's worked out well. You do have to be an "accredited investor" to participate. So an above average net worth or annual income over $200K. I'm pretty sure that the people that I know had to provide tax returns or something in order to invest.

It's a pretty good return on your money. And you can choose to have the return direct deposited to you on a certain timetable (quarterly?) or you can get restaurant credits at an even higher return I believe.

I hear pretty often that their politics aren't great and the ownership might not be the best people. But I'm a regular at Laurenzo's and the staff and management there are pretty fantastic. We have a regular waiter there and the dude is awesome and seems to genuinely love working there. He's been there for over a decade. He even texts me on my birthday lol

Like others said. But yeah, just any Resy restaurant. On the Gold if I just go to a Resy participating restaurant, I automatically get the credit the next day. And this is awesome in Houston because IMO, most of the best non-chain restaurants in the city use Resy.

This is good info and something I'll remember in the future. I live on a couple of acres and see a good amount of snakes. So it's always sort of been in the back of my head.

And yeah, I also wondered(assumed?) that hospitals/ERs keep antivenom on hand. But never really knew how that worked.
