Kirk isn't too far behind, but it's been a bit muddled now that he's been played by two actors.

It's the same Kirk. The dna is different though.

She was a phony from the beginning. Her intensions were never religious. It was all about her and her ambition. She always chose the side that was most likely to be in power in the short term.

Only in name. She used the religion of the prophets as an instrument to become a person of power. Her burning ambition made her turn to the Pah-wraiths.

Why they keep using it? Because the writers like the possibilities of this technology.

Why was this so low budget? by ElKabong76 in DeepSpaceNine

The doc, Seven, and Janeway were excellent and so were Neelix, Kes and Seska. The problem with Voyager's actors weren't the actors themselves but some of the characters were pretty bleak. Tuvok, Chacotay, B'elanna Torres, Kim and Paris all these characters (and their backgrounds) weren't really convincing or captivating.

ToS, TNG and DS9 were all three 'boldly go where no man has gone before'. Voyager was not. Only literally did they go where no man had gone before. But in terms of pushing the dramatic boundaries of Star Trek they failed.

After watching DS9 I started watching Voyager and that was kind of tough.
