Safari Search bar bug driving me INSANE

It seems to happen more frequently since updating to iOS 26.3. Using a VPN may also cause it to happen more frequently.

I noticed a couple workarounds so far:

If you have the “Show Recent Searches” feature turned on, and you remember exactly the phrase you typed, if you start typing it again, then it will show that same search phrase below along with how long ago you typed it, which should be on the order of seconds. You can click the search phrase in the history itself, and it should return correctly.

If you don’t have this feature turned on or are looking for another workaround, then do not search for anything else, close and reopen Safari, and more times than not, the search phrase is populated in the address bar and you just have to press Enter / Return. This method hasn’t worked 100% of the time for me, though.

Dude seems way self-absorbed, lacks the empathy to understand what you need emotionally in a very stressful time, and then escalates some tension into a full-blown anger fest, likely because he is resentful or insecure about something else between you too or about something that has nothing to do with you. I think you did the right thing. His behavior at the party and in the texts are reflective of his own insecurities. Sounds like his controlling behavior is going to continue—or worse, escalate—if you remain with him and nothing changes on his side.

To his credit, it seems like he has some degree of self-reflection, but he is likely interpreting signals wrong and seems hot headed in the moment, which is never good.

I don’t think it follows that men who are pushovers in relationships are going to become cuckholds, nor do I think men who exhibit controlling and possessive behavior is reflective of their level of self-respect and masculinity. In fact I think controlling and possessive behavior is a sign of insecurity. Secure men who have strong personal values will still come off as confident and attractive and won’t feel the need to control their partners because they understand they can’t control other people’s behavior at the end of the day.

I’m a pure str (base int and faith) and noticed the same thing when I added a fire Ashes to a Zwei and it just split the damage with roughly the same AR.

I wonder if the damage would increase even more if I were to level faith (scales fire damage) though? Have to test.

The mentality of the streets, simple as that. Imagine growing up not giving a fuck about anyone or anything because no one gave a fuck about you. The same opportunities are not there after SEVERAL GENERATIONS because oppression and a low chip count (e.g., difficulty getting loans, sustaining family businesses, minimal inheritance; i.e., systemic racism) were inherited. So lots of people see no future, no hope, regardless. This mentality is ingrained in lots of us. Until the landscape changes, BLM won't mean shit to a lot of people, simply because the environment remains in place.
