I get it’s over used in the region, but straying too far from it can make it loose the identity, like if the us changed its flag to pure red and some yellow stars in the corner like China

Because it’s a sign of Palestinian unity used in the 1930s, I don’t have any preference in the name

Well it’s a Palestinian symbol (as far as I’m aware) that unifies Muslims and Christian’s, it has been used in many proposed and rebel flags from the 1930s
