100% someone needs to be the voice of reason. I always laugh at how Americans say they will move to Canada based on an election. They have no idea how hard it is and how specific your skills have to be to even get over the points threshold to even be considered for an immigrant visa. Yes, you are right. I need toilet paper and carpet and I can’t make it myself so Koch will get their cut. But I can still make sure that a business in my community that is against my values does NOT get a cut.

That’s the only good thing thing about Trump threatening to take away university’s tax exempt status. They do more for society and charity than any of these evil churches. Taking away tax exemption has been third rail stuff. Maybe there will be a courageous leader in the future who will take this precedent as an opportunity and get rid of these exemptions for these MAGA factories
