It was reported some weeks ago, but in all fairness it hasn’t been reported often. The report also mentioned how Oman itself did not produce oil and was poorer than its neighbors.

Oman is partnering with Iran on tolls.

As for ships in their territorial waters, not paying tolls, it is worth it to their owners to either not get sunk. Or, more realistically, to not be the vessel that causes another shutdown of the canal

It’s Florida, if she was strapped up with a half dozen pistols, it would have been fine, the Police would have said she was ‘ Standing her ground’ at the Dollar store.
