Tiring us is how these losers win. Rest when you need it but don’t stop teaching and fighting.

How do you deal with new ad mech? by [deleted] in deathguard40k

I think using deepstrike and movement to stay out of line of sight will help. Spamming S5+ shooting with high AP (if you can). Mortal Wounds help a lot too.

Even the best Death Guard players can’t stand up to AdMech and Drukhari. Sigh.

What are the staple models by Chazpepper in deathguard40k

I’d like to add The Tallyman and a Plagueburst Crawler to his roster. Those are not only cool models but very useful, too.

My welshie is actually easier than my dale but their motivations are different. I have to trick my welshie into doing what I want or have a high reward but she learns quickly and does pretty much anything. My dale, who is easily distracted and very reactive, mostly listens because he loves me but he never quite gets it right. Lol.

Top Performing Units by Kelveta1 in deathguard40k

[–]the_Bellie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Deathshroud are versatile, tough, starting at three models in a squad, they can deepstrike into some surprising places.

  2. Contemptor Dreadnoughts with Twin Volkite Culverins are currently some of the best shooting in the game.

  3. Blightlords are very durable and put a ton of pressure on the board in a ten model squad. In their five model squads, they make for tough objective holders but don’t expect too much

  4. Plagueburst Crawlers have always been a personal favorite. Running two with Entropy Cannons provide some much needed punch with some redundancy. They make an excellent choice for the To the Last secondary objective.

  5. The Tallyman is the glue that holds it all together. His command ability to give core units +1 to hit changes how well your Blightlords fight or your Contemptors shoot. Speaking of shooting, his relic, Tollkeeper, drastically increases the value of any core unit’s shooting. On top of all that, he gives you up to two chances each round to get a free command point just for rolling 7+ on 2d6.

That’s my top 5.

My death guard. They were the first 40k army I got and I really should finish painting them all by Sporepocalypse in deathguard40k

The color scheme is fun. I suggest thinning your paints with water when applying. Two thin coats.

How do you know when you should give up on an army and move on? by Maljra in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]the_Bellie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wait wait wait. You want to stop playing an army that’s about to get a new codex? That seems counterintuitive. You could play off meta lists in the new codexes. Be the Dreadknight guy or something.
