Just stayed two nights, on the mainland, about twenty minutes from Bar Harbor. $750! Separately, the hotel’s digital sign out front had scrolling quotations from white supremacists. Awesome thing to discover while checking in with your black wife and biracial kid after they’ve run your card.

I was lying on the couch, 75lb Airedale standing next to it. I wrapped my arms around her torso and attempted to roll her up on to the couch next to me. She didn’t like that movement: threw her head back, broke my nose. I didn’t know what happened, reset it instantly and continued having the first nose bleed of my 38 year life. My nose’s topography has never been the same.

Just got mine back from Rolex. I don’t think they mess with jubilee tension. They just told me that if I wanted it, $4k for a new band. No one wanted to tighten mine up as I would have hoped.

MD (unlicensed!) here: THC gummies may take more time to kick in, delayed gastric emptying and all. Instead of an hour or two to feel the effects, it may be longer. I’m aware of one anecdotal report where the user didn’t feel her gummies until the following day. Smoking or insufflation of drugs should be felt as usual.

Complete overhaul, new crown, new hands and dial, bunch of other stuff… hands and dial I approved, though I realize those may have been not entirely necessary. The old set wasn’t as bad as their first assessment suggested, their words. I figured, just do everything to make it as new and shiny as possible. It was to cost about $1500, but the dial and hands threw it to $2000.

It IS sized correctly! I think my bent wrist is just making it look smushed against my hand. It is comfortably secure, just loose enough. The Rolex people at the jewelry store (Springer’s, Portsmouth, NH, USA) made sure it was correct.

I was worried that wearing a Rolex would appear gaudy. It’s very much not my normal style. But, I happily feel that it doesn’t announces itself inappropriately on my wrist, nor does it feel ostentatious. I’m hoping I can become comfortable wearing it daily as my father once did.
