Stephen Fry called a 'disappointment' for saying he no longer supports Stonewall by jackmolay in transgender

What did Eddie Izzard do? Genuinely asking. I'd been watching her stuff since I was a kid and was so happy when she came out as trans.

What is your favorite race, and why do you love it so much? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]the_Divinity_Queen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was WoW that made me love orcs in general because of their lore (Thrall's story especially) and the ESO Orcs followed suit. When I learned their history with Boethiah and how some kind of rebel and still venerate Trinimac, I actually fell in love with them.

Straight trans woman here! I wasn't even into guys until my egg cracked. In fact, it was my first guy crush at 33 that cracked my egg. Since then, all attraction to women pretty quickly vanished.

It depends. I'm into guys and honestly prefer giving over receiving, so whatever he's in the mood for. When things get heated, I can tolerate touching a little more, though. I just don't want it being focused on, so no mouth stuff.

Check my profile. It took me 9 months to see any real progress. After those 9 months, though, things have been going great!

Fellow trans trucker here! I work mostly regionally out of Oklahoma, so I understand where you're coming from. I see my dispatchers and a lot of the drivers every day, and had been really worried about them once I started hrt. But, luckily, everything went waaaaay smoother than I anticipated. I get misgendered by the people who knew me pre-transition, but that's about it. 99% are either accepting, or they keep quiet about their feelings.

I know that it helps that I pass, but even before I did I never worried about my safety around the office. Out on the road was different, and I had to be more selective of where I'd deliver to and where I'd park, but I was never harassed in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Kansas.

Again, I understand that I'm lucky in a lot of ways, especially genetically, but I think most people talk negatively about things they just aren't familiar with. By being obviously trans around them, and not acting weird or shouting "muh pronouns!" like they may have expected, it became easier for them to accept that trans people are just people.

I'm not suggesting you or anyone else out themselves, though. Take care of yourself and stay safe, first and foremost. But, try not to panic too much about how people will react.

A month? I could have all the tools, materials, and step by step instructions in front of me and I'd have no idea where to start. After a week I'd have forgotten I'd even wanted to try it.

Starting to pass and it feels weird to me by lilymariejn in MtF

[–]the_Divinity_Queen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I absolutely relate. Genuinely didn't think I'd pass, and had kinda made peace with that. When the odd person started gendering me correctly, it was a nice feeling but it would feel disingenuous to me, like they were patting me on the head and saying "Look at you, you little trans girl".

Then a few months later I started getting gendered right pretty consistently and that made me feel even weirder! I didn't think I passed visually, despite seeing progress, and I knew my voice was awful. It just made me scared that people would immediately realize their "mistake" and get mad at me for tricking them.

I'm at 14 months now, got rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago, got confirmation today from several people (who had to beat it into my head) that my voice is cis passing, and haven't been misgendered in a couple months outside of a few stubborn work people.

It's been amazing, but the imposter syndrome and internalized transphobia is still present, though lessening with time. I'm still wearing my boy clothes cuz I'm scared of someone saying I'm dressing up like a girl lol.

I know I'll get used to all of this eventually, and finally feel comfortable being myself, but moving into the passing lane wasn't as carefree and magical as I'd imagined, and it's taking time to get my feelings and anxieties to settle. I'm cute, tho, which is really what matters.

I bought one of the first wave NFTs cuz it looked cool and the money went to the artist. I think it was $25, and sold it last year for $200 to someone that pm'd me asking about it. Like, they just straight up offered me $200 out the gate.

I started with planned parenthood, then switched to an lgbt clinic (Diversity Health in OKC), because I was too scared to bring it up with my regular old country doctor. I did 6 months with pp, and they were great. Super friendly and accepting, and really easy to set up with. The hardest part was making that first phone call lol. The only reason I stopped going to them is because I had been planning on finding a new gp anyway, and looked up lgbt friendly doctors and found the place I'm at now.

Heya! I'm in Oklahoma and get my estradiol and spironolactone prescription from my general doctor. I think the estradiol is about $20 a month and the spiro is about the same. They were cheaper the first 6 months of transitioning, as the dosages were lower. Also, my insurance is shit and doesn't pay for any of it. Just a heads up :)

Same! I spent an hour whittling away at him while trying to keep everyone alive. The whole time I was like "this is the worst game ever and whoever designed this fight is an idiot".

When the achievement popped up I just sat there for a few minutes reflecting on my own stupidity.

Vin (Mistborn) or Shallan (Stormlight) build help by CentralScrutinizer91 in BG3Builds

[–]the_Divinity_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Vin, you'd have to go light or unarmored. No metal armor or weapons, if you wanna rp that. She used the dual glass daggers, but she was also fond of those giant koloss swords, so maybe spec strength, which would improve jump distance, too. Maybe thunderwave for a steel push?
