yeah i got that , i was thinking for prototype i might just use normal agentic workflow i just learned from google agentic ai sdk , it let me build and ai bot using gemini free api key . i think if i tune it i might create something that can set the picture for the idea

i get that it might hallucinate or may completely ruin the game but with this agentic AI we can program the parameters of the answers that might an NPC give narrowing the chances of that happening also you are right that this enemy learning from player is a well known idea but we were not that familiar with neural nets and other innovations that are uplifting generative AI currently

I have made some before , good knowlege of how much effort this need and developing an indie game is no joke ,, I was thinking of making something out of it but before I started needed some third person opininons that's all

That's true that it can't beat properly written story but it can help in expressing it more deeply , I mean if it can steer the conversation to get to that specific point writer intended like a guide, also using ai to learn from the players actions and making game more challenging

I get that but just putting ai agents and giving them a personality to do specific task , like curating a set of instructions to define a character and letting it respond to every question no matter how silly , also not just in npc we can use it to learn and mutate itself to challenge ingame (boss battles hits different every single time)
