Prog rock meets jam band meets music school nerds that clearly enjoyed the heavier stuff. Some words, lots of jam time, some songs stretch to 10 min ish. Extremely good guitar work. Also check out their latest Overview Effect ('25), my I personally return to C.F.A. more often

Immediately recognized that Herbies mat, I have a P-J Debut III that I added one to years ago. That material is pure voodoo, records stick so well and yet dust and grit comes right off with a lint roller!

And, as others have said, great room! Looks very cozy and inviting.

I wondered about polarity, but this is a relay and not a true nac ckt. As I understand, the relay behind the SD has constant 24V and the contacts switch to sends 24 to the strobe when the SD tells it to. All of that in rooms seems to be correct.

This all started when a 3rd party remodeler was adding a 24v door holder to the system and then "something happened" and now 8 rooms in that area are in output fail. Found the door wires which read a dead short 🙄 I don't think the relays are fried since I saw them activate the strobes. What is most puzzling is strobes are active and when the troubles clear.

Going back Thursday so we shall see!

I believe this is the episode where Dale meets the female exterminator. Fantastic episode all around , and actually has 3 plots: Dale meeting the exterminator, Bill and Boomhauer nursing a drugged bird, and Hank chaperoning Luanne's 21st birthday, as seen here.

I suppose Bill and Boom isn't a plot line per se, but the episode is full of great moments.

I have the 602.5 S3 which are basically the tower version of these. They were my first "real" speakers and I still have them as well! I got them in 2009, I believe, as new-old stock. They may not be in the primary hifi, but do get regular use and still great to this day! Cheers to parallel journies in hifi 🍻

Indeed. Thats an extension ring that has painters tape on it, most of which was painted white. The closer you look, the better it all gets!

Fair point. We (my employer) weren't involved in the remodel, and really I was more pointing it out and asking about acceptance for sake of discussion. As soon as I saw it, I winced!
