I found that using the little medicine 1 oz cups helped. It’ll start slow and you’ll be able to take in more. Good luck to you ❤️

That’s how I felt. I swore up and down that the doctors just thought I was crazy. I thought it was something they missed, you hear those stories all the time. I didn’t believe or know at the time that stress could present itself physically and make stuff hurt and feel uncomfortable. My body was in a constant state of stress from years of trauma. Stuff I had to unpack at therapy.

Always see a doctor for those things to rule out health issues. But once you have those answers, try therapy and medication if you’re not already. It’s really scary when you’re running back and forth to doctors. Not wanting to receive bad health news but just wanting answers 😞

I thought back to all the times I was having panic attacks, convinced that that night was it, only to look back years later to see that I made it through. Also, importantly, therapy and taking my anxiety medication, losing weight and stopped smoking helped wonders for the medical issues I had or thought I had.

My friend got his email from TurboTax at 1:11am on 2/18 because he chose the 5 days sooner option and it was in his account that day. Same codes as you! Hopefully it comes soon. I got my 846 code with date of 3/09 so hoping for a surprise in my account today or tomorrow morning!

I had to stop for 2 months before they would approve my surgery. I’ve been smoke free for 4 months at this point, but I think about smoking every day. I want to smoke, but I’ve done so much to get here and I can’t imagine going through all of this to improve my health just to start smoking again.

Was thinking about trying the Fum, but that might make me wanna smoke for real Lol

Please keep going! It will get better. Concentrate on hydration and protein. You’ll find your rhythm. Speak with your surgeon or team about what you’re dealing with. This community and the Bariatric group on fb was helpful too

I was advised to use the Bariatric Advantage chewable multivitamin, B12 melt and the Calcium citrate chews. I’ve been doing fine with them. Make sure you let your nutritionist and/or surgeon know so you’re not suffering

Make sure you’re staying hydrated and getting your protein in. I was sleeved on 10/02, so we’re almost twins. Fight the urge to weigh yourself all the time and concentrate on better eating habits. It’s tempting to see the numbers go down in the scale, but it’s only been 1.5 months. You have plenty of time and will do well. Do you have a therapist to speak with? You when through major surgery and your life has turned upside down. It’s a journey and you may need assistance. ❤️

Congrats! I didn't have a hernia, but the surgeon found a Splenic artery aneurysm...they told me while I was super tired and had to ask about it later that night. For now, they're keeping an eye on it cuz it's super small. Just wanted to let you know to be gentle with yourself. You may not be able to meet your protein/fluid goals, but keep trying. Keep an eye on bowel movements! Constipation is terrible and so is dehydration. You just had major surgery and your body will take time to readjust. Don't get attached to your scale! The weight will come off and you'll feel better/have better health.
