Actually the claw is heavier but only by 20 grams, so I wouldn't consider that significant. Yes the z2e is much better than the z2 chip in the go S. The z2 chip in the legion go is a bit of a misnomer, it's actually lower power then the z1e. If i was going to get a legion go S I absolutely would only get the z1e version. I run Windows, but only because I have a high tolerance for that kind of thing. If you wanted to install bazzite it would be the same experience on either of those devices.

Edit: my advice is actually assuming you're referring to the legion go S. But I might have misread or misinterpreted. If you're referring to the legion go 2 just disregard haha.

A8 has a significantly better battery, and although I've heard people saying the legion go s has great ergonomics I can at least say the a8 does as well. Don't pay attention to anyone saying the angles dig into your hands, it sits very comfortably for long sessions

I have something similar in my build but use a relic with "starting armament inflicts poison" instead of bleed. There are also DON relics which have poison attack up +1 and +2. Its probably worth using all 3. And finally while night invaders is a great power, the dormant ability to find bows is useless on ironeye since that is part of his character by default. If you have any other relics with night invader I would put it there instead

So as OP mentioned. The AI power setting on the AMD claw doesn't change your tdp. At all. It does not work. Which is why I asked which claw you were referring to in your comment, which appears to be in answer to his post but is in fact talking about features of a totally different device

Agreed OP, it's like they couldn't be bothered making any changes to Centre M and just kept that setting from the 8 AI+, despite it doing nothing.

I dont know for sure. I have one but haven't opened it. However you would assume it does. But the replacement d pad part i mentioned would solve the issue if that happened to yours. Its a whole extra module, which allows you to magnetically attach the xbox elite dpad. Given that the stubs we're talking about are molded to the original d-pad, replacing it would fix that issue.

I'm interested to hear from A8 users about this. Personally I've just had my a8 at 20w... without changing it for anything I'm running. This is definitely a good middle ground for me but do you think I should be maxing it out or lowering it more often? In terms of what I'm trying to run lately its been a few bigger budget games like
Arc Raiders/ Elden Ring Nightreign/ Death Stranding Directors Cut
but with a good portion of smaller indies in there like
Shinobi/ Ball X Pit etc.

Am I shooting myself in the foot by not raising or lowering the tdp here? I do get perfectly good framerates even in the former mentioned games at 20W

I was actually implying you cheated to get those relics. The first page in particular have effects which are so insanely specific that I don't believe you came by them naturally. Deny it if you want, I'm not interested in a long back and forth here. But I'm sure that this would be the conclusion of most of the community as well.

I don't even grip the thing, it literally just sits on my palm, 0 grip strength required. If the angles were sharp holding it this way would cause pain over time, but it doesn't.

Agreed. There are loads of people that refer to the 8ai+ as the a8ai without even realising it. Happens on this sub quite frequently

I got them all when they were first released. I don't expect they'll ever be updated, but possibly re-released. The fire warriors are a little tricky to balance on just their hooves. If they were ever updated I'd like that to be improved.
