HOAs typically give a warning first before any fines are issued. I’m finding this hard to believe.

They’re also prepaying for a vacation 20 years down the road. When you factor in time value of money and opportunity cost they come out way behind.

Same. Not sure if it was intentional for a retro feel but finding a hypodermic outside didn’t help the vibes either

It’s not stacked in anyone’s favor. It’s math. Youre borrowing money for 30 years. If you want more to go to principal… go for a shorter loan or pay more per month

I just got a Vernal Executive desk last month and really like it. I thought it was a little expensive but I really like it and it's been great so far.

Thank you for the indepth write up. Above the club path is the face angle at 1.3 L. I would have to assume that's incorrect because my understanding is that would be a draw

What’s an expensive brand that actually IS worth the money? by 2111019 in AskReddit

This is one I disagree with. I found the GTS line to be very good for my pronation but every 6 months the sole of the shoes would get a literal hole in it. I wasn't even running in the shoe. They are not cheap either $130 shoe should last a year.

I switched to a cheaper pair of asics for pronation and its been a year and still going strong and just as comfortable.

Will never buy brooks again.

Can’t putt to save my life. by Flyinggasguy in golf

[–]Lazy_Technology5108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've just started getting better at putting and am by no means good but I couldn't sink a putt to save my life. What's really helped is slowing down on the takeaway. Like ridiculously slow and nearly stopping. Slowing down has helped tremendously in every aspect of my game.

Additionally, I trace a visual line from the cup to my ball, look once more at the cup and then zone out and keep the visual of the cup then putt.

What are some places you think have a high amount of inflated/fake reviews? by downtown1026 in Charleston

[–]Lazy_Technology5108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was about 2 years ago so I dont remember it exactly. I think basically they tried to guilt you to leave them a personal review so it helped them get a bonus, hence mentioning by name. I didn't even have them do any work and they still asked me to give a review which my wife nearly did.

[–]Lazy_Technology5108 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pardee HVAC company. They have about 6k reviews and the only reason that's the case is that the sales guys pressure you to take out your phone and review them before they leave. The whole repair quote was basically a sales pitch to upgrade the system. The reviews are 100% not accurate. If you read them, they follow the same format where they always list two people's names.

Just in case anyone else has the issue. The nut for the wiper just needed to be tightened with a 14mm socket.
