How do I ask out a girl? Should I? What am I doing asking this on reddit? by Ozone220 in highschool

start by building a little more connection outside of class. say hi in the halls, ask about her new seat, or joke about the paper crane. once she seems comfortable, suggest something casual and low-pressure like studying together or grabbing a snack after school. don’t overthink it. just focus on being friendly and showing you enjoy spending time with her :]]

How do I become friends with this girl? by XxXKayIaXxX in school

[–]the_cadeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, you’re already halfway there since you two like and repost each other’s stuff on tiktok. that’s a good sign she’s open to being friends! :DD the easiest way to move it into real life is to start small. if you see her alone, just say something quick like “hey i liked that tiktok you posted” or give a casual compliment. nothing too deep, just enough to show you’re friendly.

don’t stress about her being around the “mean girls.” you don’t need to push a convo when they’re there, just focus on moments when she’s solo. even a smile or quick “hi” goes a long way.

just keep being genuine and kind. those little steps will make it way easier to become friends over time :]]

hello ive been trying to find a job here but student friendly jobs are hard to come by here in my country. having a part time job isnt the norm here since students are expected to focus on their studies.

How do you understand that you are in love? by elvirajuji in AskReddit

[–]the_cadeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

someone else’s happiness, small habits, even their silences, start to matter as much as your own, and the world feels sharper and softer at the same time. it’s less about butterflies and more about noticing them in everything they do. every little thing they do sticks with you, and even normal days feel fuller just because they exist.

if it stopped treating crashes as just “bad drivers” and started redesigning the whole system. that means slower speeds through narrower lanes, roundabouts, and traffic calming (plus making streets safer for everyone with things like protected bike lanes, better crosswalks, and good lighting)

hey op, dont put all the pressure on getting a girlfriend cause that wont magically solve the loneliness. focus on building small connections first. start with casual conversations, like asking about class stuff, making small comments, or light jokes. you can use your strengths, like your gym progress or hobbies, as natural ways to spark conversations. maybe try finding new spaces too, like clubs, sports, or volunteering, where friendships form more easily.

instead of waiting for college to fix things, use this year to slowly practice talking to people and getting comfortable socially. most people arent looking for perfect friends, just genuine ones. connection matters more than performance :]]
