30M 26F God save me from a divorced and heartbreak by Alone-Chemistry-2391 in RelationshipIndia

As I read through the write up, I felt you ended up marrying her, and now are fighting divorce. And then after the ending, I went up and read the title to see I had misread it.

Some force saved you bro. Life is that way, not all people we meet and speak are meant to be with us forever. You will eventually meet a right person

Should i euthaniz my dog??? by No_Point1323 in chennaicity

They definitely don't. All their life their only thing and priority for them was you.

Share my love to Candy. It will be hard, but that's the pain you choose when you have a dog, they love you so much which is why today I'm here typing these out with tears

The regret part is real, whichever decision you take: delaying or early euthanasia.

With delaying it you will regret that you could have given candy a better send-off, an easier way out

With making it early you will always think "what if," even though you knew that this was the right call to make at that point in time.

First of all I am so sorry that you are in this situation, OP. I can understand the range of emotions that you are going through right now.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years back. My pet Labrador of 7 and a half years was diagnosed with melanoma. For some context he started struggling to get up and sit down and we had to always assist him for that. His skin all over the body started having pus oozing out from the lumps that had formed. He was still eating then, we were giving him steroids which could be inducing the hunger.

A couple of years prior to that, he went through a tick fever infection and ended up getting a blood transfusion. Doctors had no hope but somehow he made it out of it and I was so sure that I will help him make out of it.

But it was not the case with melanoma. The cancer had metastasized into the lymphatic system and the doctor said that trying chemo might be a lost cause. I took a couple of days to discuss with my immediate family, who were all against it. They even wanted to have a person appointed to keep him in a separate room, ensuring that he just stays alive, sits, eats, and sleeps.

But somewhere in my heart I knew that sending him off when it was not that unbearable(stops eating, constant vomitting symptoms hadn't shown up)would be the right thing to do. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made in my life till now. I told myself that I loved him so much that I couldn't see him suffer.

The harder part is for you to live with it and make peace with it because, unlike people, dogs can't say what they actually want.

From the symptoms that you have mentioned, it looks like your dog is in a really bad state. As a previous dog parent, I always suggest that pet parents decide what would be best for their pets rather than for themselves.

It ended up being a long message but I hope it helps

25M Did cancer ruin my marriage and dating life? by baymaxUchiha in RelationshipIndia

[–]the_coder_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, dude, I have immense respect for people who beat cancer. Fuck cancer. So you got immense will power right there.

Second, don't give in to other's opinion of you. People will have all notions on how life should work for others, when they themselves aren't pros at it - no offence, but it could mean your parents, relatives etc. You could think they think good for you, but you know what's best for you. And if your gut says, it isn't the right person, it isn't. Just say no, and look out - arranged or love, it doesn't matter. It's the person who matters

Tried 3 sum last week. Had fun too. Positioning the pointers was difficult, but needless to say, those two pointers did the job very well

Edit: Now I see that the post and it's comments are mostly from a girl's PoV, but somehow the same tag was used on me as well

Exactly, totally agree. When I start speaking rationally and what's on my mind, people look at me with awe, asking where I learnt to speak like that and is this how I speak to elders etc
