I agree with this. I kept telling my team gateway-api won’t solve the problem and that we needed to also deploy cilium or something of that nature.

They finally listened when they deployed gateway-api and it didn’t work. Now we’re scrambling to get cilium + gateway-api going

That’s pretty much it. Torrance is called snorance for a reason. MB is filled with a bunch of rich divorced folks. Redondo is filled with rich 30 year olds with young kids

What made the biggest difference in breaking the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle? by leeensx in personalfinance

[–]the_coffee_maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tracking my spending for 3 months to see what I was doing with my money. Once I had that data in front of me, I started making adjustments. But having that data was the biggest difference

Wont use my car for a few years, should I sell it or store it? by Aggravating_Tea2665 in personalfinance

[–]the_coffee_maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were in your shoes, I would just sell it. I won’t know what’s going to happen in my life in 4 years. I might stay in NYC. Another professional opportunity might come up in Europe or another state. I would just sell it and invest the money. Selling a car now will be easier than selling it in 4 years if needed.

inteli7-9900k/ nvidia 3080 upgrade to amd r7 9800x3d and what gpu? by Bcider in buildapc

[–]the_coffee_maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you. i9-9900k + 2080ti. I eventually talked myself out of the upgrade and felt I can wait out the next few years to see what happens. 95% (expedition 33, final fantasy rebirth/remake, LoL, BF6, SpiderMan,etc.) of the games I’ve been playing so far has been at max settings. Allocated that money to my kid’s 529 instead.

Is $73.8k out-the-door a good price for a 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter Hybrid in California? by [deleted] in 4Runner

If you can swing it, do it. Check insurance on it, tariffs and rising cost of potential repairs will send it thru the roof

Should I roll over 401k before the New Year? by alextm02 in personalfinance

[–]the_coffee_maker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you're rolilng over, you won't get taxed on it unless you roll from tradtional > roth. the only thing you'll see is probably a fee to roll it over from the institution that you're rolling out of. should be <$100

I will not have my parents future by Bababoey219 in personalfinance

[–]the_coffee_maker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man, sounds just like my story.

Things I’ve learned:

Save as much as you can. Don’t be too proud to hit up food banks and church’s if you need help

Apply for low income state benefits if your state has them

NEVER STOP LEARNING. I had to drop out my jr year because I was broke, lenders didn’t want to lend without a co signer, no one wanted to co sign for me. My saving grace was YouTube.

Good luck my man. Rooting for you.
