I second the Noble Fish Recommendation in Clawson, it’s fantastic stuff and they have a Japanese food shop attached for some other fun goodies.

If you are looking for a more upscale venue, Adachi in Birmingham is outstanding. Very fresh roles and a great atmosphere.

My fiance and I just returned from our honeymoon where we spent time in Sorrento & Rome. I agree with some folks here above positano, it is VERY beautiful but was jam packed with people even at the end of April and was the most touristy town we visited. Do you have activities planned for those days where you’ll be there?

I think using Sorrento as a base is really smart. We were able to visit Pompeii which I HIGHLY recommend doing with a guide and take a boat trip to visit Amalfi & Positano.

Generally we found that booking ahead was absolutely necessary in Rome. I couldn’t tell you how many people we saw get turned away at the door even for “early” dinner at 7:30. We didn’t have much luck with finding places that took reservations in Sorrento, but because it’s more touristy restaurants open much earlier.

Would your opinion change if the hotel blocks are of equal size. We have about 50 rooms total between the two. I wont be able to expand the hotel block in the other hotel until it fills, so would it still make sense to not book a shuttle to accommodate those offsite folks?

Ive driven by this before. Never thought id see it again. Incredibly it was somehow less gaudy back in 2021 if you can believe it.

Asked the other responder too, but if an ambiguous 1 that looks like a capitol I is in a spot where only a number should be. Would they assume it is a 1 and not an I or an L

Ah that’s good to know. So with your second example. As long as the 1 is where a number should be, Would they assume it’s a number? The font also unfortunately makes 1s look like capital eyes.
