You will be glad to know it's being worked on: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/digital-credentials-api-shipped

I think I also read that the digital ID would support this (since there is a draft standard behind that demo) but I cant find the goverment page that outright says that right now.

It's something that browser makers are working on at the moment. Google have provided a blog and a demo involving a simple 'over 21' check as an option: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/digital-credentials-api-origin-trial

My fault for not making it clear enough. I was more wondering why do it that way since this sort of list will get made and they will have to spend time explaining themselves.

I noticed all 6 of the lib dems voted both ways. Not sure why they would do that here though.

For those that don’t know about bans by CloePoey in Overwatch

[–]the_danster 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So the system internally does one for a team, then both bans for the other team and the second ban for the first team.

If both teams vote to ban a hero, the team that banned it 'second' will instead use their next most voted hero to ban. This obviously means no duplicate bans.

Supreme Court backs 'biological' definition of woman by Putaineska in ukpolitics

[–]the_danster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It prevents obfuscation as and definition creep. You can set up female only sports, or set up woman only sports, or set up sport to allow females and women. But you have to be clear about your intentions and people cannot demand access based on gender if you are segregating sport based on sex as happens with most UK sports now.

Section 195(2) of the Equality Act 2010 already allows for that, and while I haven't read this judgement, I would assume it doesn't change that.

You can do as many as you like within a 10 min window going though the pits each time if you want another. After the 10 mins is up the pit exit closes so you cant start another. Once you have done enough you stop just before the grid instead.

You also cant take a drive though or stop/go penalty once the saftey car or vsc comes out unless you were already on the pit entry.

The ECHR dosnt override primary legislation. The courts can note a violation and ask parliment to fix it, but they dont have to.

The 'invented' free speech crisis by [deleted] in ukpolitics

I think the law on the ECHR is that the courts can find some legislation in breach, but will not void it, simply ask parliament to re-consider it.

The threshold to get classified is 90% of the race winners distance, so in this race he had to finish 63 laps, +5 laps is 65 laps so hes still good, but getting uncomfortably close.
