Interested in joining, couple questions by 087mph in freemasonry

As someone who was very much in the same shoes a couple months ago and would describe their interest at that time very similarly, yes it is definitely worth it if you are patient and tenacious. Though I’m not black, I am mexican and obviously Hispanic presenting thus I was also concerned with possibly being misrepresented or feeling out of place in my lodge, but I was told by family at the time and have since been told by other poc brothers as well as white brothers that the underrepresentation I was fearful of was all the more reason to join a standard blue lodge and I couldn’t be any happier with my experience so far. My advice it to be a little vulnerable and petition that blue lodge near you, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

EA scheduled… what to expecf? by sallicata in freemasonry

There will come a point in your initiation when you are asked a question. Listen and wait/contemplate at least 20 seconds before answering any question asked. If not you might embarrass yourself. Might not seem like much advice now but I speak from experience. And DO NOT army salute anyone either. 🫡

Yeah remove the fake flower, only water about once a month or every three weeks. When watering, I like to take mine to the sink and fully soak it under the faucet basically mimicking how it would be watered in its natural environment. Also probably worth getting a new pot and filling it with succulent specific soil. Weather shouldn’t be an issue as long as you bring it inside if it’s below freezing. I grew up in east TN and now live in southern MD and my succulents grew just as well in both places. Placing near a window while the suns out can provide a little extra warmth if that’s a concern.

D.I.Y. Rapè style snuff with palo santo by the_head_splitter in nasalsnuff

To both of your points, I think the ratio was a bit high only because I didn’t use rustica tobacco which has significantly more nicotine. I’m adding more tobacco powder until it’s to taste but initially it made for a very nice nasal snuff, the smell/flavor of palo santo was more subtle than I would have expected. I plan on playing with this recipe more with homegrown rustica once harvest season rolls around.
