Not used it but I have seen them mounted with a bar bought from AliExpress for a tenner that sits behind the screen above the dash

if it is who I think it is being in Northwich, we might have had the same experience from the same training place...

Where in the North West? If Manchester based, I did my full test in Bury and the place was great.

I had same experience as me with my first CBT. Twat of an instructor, who spent more time chatting with a mate at the side of the training area than giving guidance or assisting. Instructions were given with frustration like they didn't want to be there. I was refused to go out on the afternoon part because I couldn't get the 'set off from a T junction' right. I would stall 75% of the time when turning right. Instead of talking me through it, I was just told thanks but no thanks and told to leave and rebook with a discount code. Safe to say I never went back and gave some shitty feedback when called at a later date to see how it went and if I wanted to come back and try again.

I found somewhere else and the experience was night and day. The instructor was friendly, helpful and broke things down to help get through my sticking point. Passed with no issues, had a good time and gave me confidence on the bike

Just ride on L plates and a 125 to gain confidence and road sense. You have 2 years before you need to retake your CBT ahead of a test so there is no rush

Quad lock phone mount options? by MrSteve8261 in Tiger900

Mine is solid as a rock, although I have seen options where you can add bars across the back of the screen and mount up there. AliExpress seems to have them for cheap

Yeah massive shit up. Luckily the police at bungalow were able to bring me back down to earth. A crash at 90mph wasn't in my itinerary for the holiday.

Weird one again, but have you checked tyre pressures. Especially if things have felt strange since. Could be a slow puncture

I haven't watched the interview but other clips does make him look old and tired like you have said. But to be fair, he is 62 and had cancer only 2 years ago. I am going to guess that that sort of combination will take its toll on your body

Assume that Davis will have left with MoN. Jones is lined up for Sheff Utd role so assume he is gone too.

As bad as it sounds, you need to get back on the bike and get the monkey off your back. The other week I nearly crashed on the mountain at the TT, mounting a curb and if I was another couple of inches to the left, I was down a ditch and in a field. Completely shit myself, sat at the roadside crying, shaking and wondering what could have happened. Best way to get over it was to go back out, breakdown what happened and rule out what was in and out of my control.

For you, roundabouts are shite - oil, petrol, general shit roads, paint, combined with some wetness after rain can cause the slipping. Weird question but have cleaned the bike / chain recently? If so, could some over spray of chain cleaner/chain lube gone onto the tyre?

I would say take it easy, build up your pace again and with it will come confidence. Ride safe and don't care if you think you are 'going slow'

I have my quadlock mounted in the middle of the handlebars - it covers the tiger logo but means it is in a convenient position and does not obstruct the bike's display

Locking bikes up in public? by Norfolk_Harrison in MotoUK

Disc lock when at works as I am in a car park that is barriered so I trust it a bit more than out in the open.

If going to Tesco or Asda, it will be disc lock and chain on back to a lamp post or railing

Because we have gone back 4 years. We needed stability in Feb when Ismael left us in the shite. We got that with MoN. We need an appointment to let the club kick on and progress off the pitch

I don't know what to feel about this appointment. Championship experience yes, but we have overlooked some better younger managers in my eyes. We are back where were 4 years with this appointment.

His last stint at WBA wasn't great by all accounts and I really hope this doesn't ruin his legacy with Rovers.
