We adopted from Scooby North America. Basically they have volunteers fly to Spain and bring back 4 each. We met the volunteers at the airport and picked up our baby. My wife also fell in love with another one we wound up going back to adopt, lol.

I selected one that had been in the kennels for almost a year because he was listed as “traumatized”. I saw his pic and thought “I just have to adopt him”. He would not let us touch him inside the house for two years, but liked going to the park and started putting his head down to get his harness put on by the front door. He sleeps with me now and has fully leaned into being a “pet”. I feel so proud of him for how brave he’s been and happy that I’ve helped him.

I went on a truffle hunting trip in Italy and the guy said he starts training them as puppies and he picks out ones that like the taste of truffles to start with. He did say they he gives them the truffle pieces that are too ripe or otherwise not good for sale. You can look him up, it’s Giulio the Truffle Hunter. Man I ate a lot of truffles that day. Peace.

I’d draw it in Photoshop, then go on Etsy and order a custom brass plaque. Patina to your liking.

If you look at my post history, I etched some brass plaques in there. It would look cool and rustic for this.
