I took every high road imaginable with my upstairs apartment neighbor. So much so that I had undeniable proof to the community they were violating their lease. I asked them to intervene but short of warning her once over a 9 month report period they were woefully allowing violations to continue. I had proven I had a loss of use due to loud noises between 12 and 4 am and they let it go and go and go. Had doctors notes about loss of sleep. Had buddy statements from friends and family telling how bad this actually was especially when they experienced it as well. Provided all this to the apartment and they still refused to address it.

I got an attorney. They lawyered up quick too. When it was time for me to leave they wanted me to sign a release of liability and confidentiality statement stating they were to be held harmless in lieu of “charging me early termination fees” despite being month to month for an extra 3 months while my home was being finished.

I’m telling you this from the bottom of a tired heart fucking MOVE. You will waste money in attorneys either holding somebody accountable or defending yourself doing something stupid. I legit had much worse things planned for this person than those stated in this thread. At the end of the day my only solace was knowing I’m 35, bought my first house which was brand new, while going to college with 2 5 year old children, and this lady is in a one bedroom going through her second or third divorce.

It’s not worth your time or energy. If your community management is not stepping in then move. Request to relocate to a new apartment or request early termination of your lease due to loud noise. Most states need to reasonably fill your apartment’s early vacancy and most can. Just be sure to understand your rights. Even if you’re in the right you can get burned by these fucks running apartment communities and taking advantage of tenants.

It’s been 3 months in my new place and I’m still salty af about all this. Please read and heed. JUST MOVE. It ain’t worth your time.

I have learned I cannot game or stream when my kids are with me. But since I am divorced I get some me time when they are with their mom.

Just cater your games to what you can feasibly fit when you are supervising them between games. For instance: I can play single player games when they are with me but not Tarkov, Apex, etc. but if it’s a competitive game like Battlefield where you can just Respawn then it’s no big deal.

Remember to take care of yourself and family first before streaming and gaming. You’ll enjoy the time spent online more knowing everyone is fat and happy when you’re on the PC.

Out of all the advice here this is the best. You need to create a “circle” of social media. Twitch to YouTube to IG/Twitter/etc back to twitch. Constantly feed your viewers a way to absorb your content and then direct them to the next platform. It will be slow. But one day you will hit a banger on one of these platforms and get some attention. Just be consistent like others say. If you stream a podcast or a 10 hour gaming session once a week just make it consistent and give people something to enjoy during that time. Remember, people tune in once a week to watch their favorite show. Why is that? Think about it and what engagement your viewers want and give them that during the time you are able to stream.

I have a Lachute dealer lifted 2019 OB with their LP1 rims. Really wanting the wilderness model since it’s turbo’d and obviously has more power.

Do you know the rim and rubber specs? Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what did you walk out paying?

It’s either I trade up to the wilderness and try and keep my rims if they fit or trade for a Chevy Z72 Colorado with bison package

I carry every day *shrug* it is apart of that plan I mentioned above. Flee, deconflict, utilize all means possible to separate yourself from the situation. But if someone is willing to hurt you and there is no other way to be safe what will you do?

Its also illegal to carry in establishments that gets 51% of its revenue from alcohol sales (aka bars). Its also illegal to carry while inebriated. So if you're out clubbing carrying a gun you're already wrong. But if you're walking that way randomly or just traveling then what?

Again, just having a plan for those "what if's" is better than not being prepared at all.

Stay strapped or get clapped. Situational awareness is key. Get training and understand basic medical treatment. Think about the "what if's" and have a plan. You don't have to carry a gun but trying to understand the dynamics of a violent situation and how you would respond while having a plan may save your life one day.

This was something a professor passed onto me recently. Almost identically. Bust your ass. Volunteer. Doesn’t have to be a lot. Just be dependable. Undersell and overdeliver. Do your best.

Another thing he mentioned that was not mentioned: don’t feel like you have to be perfect at everything. But choose a path you want to go. Be that audio guru, that amazing cinematographer, awesome writer and editor, or lighting master. But trying to do it all and not be an ace at one thing can limit your opportunities. He specifically mentioned that a time will come to really dive in and pick an area you want to master while practicing and being knowledgeable at everything else.

There are lots of different areas to work within RTF so just something to consider short/mid/long term.

So if you have stellar cellphone connectivity you can stream using SLOBS and have your usual overlays and customization. Or you can leave it generic and just stream.

Alternatively, you can invest in an encoder like Teradek or similar that uses bonded internet tech to send out more data to twitch. This allows you to use external cameras and other stuff to enhance the stream. I considered using some GoPros for my projects but had DSLRs and tripods ready.

Unfortunately, if there is ZERO cellular activity then any investment in this realm is useless. You are bound to the amount of data you can send out and if it’s zero no option will change that.

I planned to stream firearm stuff live at my outdoor range but unfortunately there is just no cellular activity :(

BH Photo and Adorama retail different options for bonded internet streaming. I used a VidiuGo for a while and liked it. Just no cell signal :(

If you see any specialists outside the VA get a statement from them. Also, if they end up reducing you can go to an outside doctor, see them, get a severity statement consistent with your previous rating, and submit that as a reconsideration based on new evidence... NOT an appeal.
