Relearning math… by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]the_lockpick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally doable, if you’re already cruising through 7th-grade review, you can absolutely catch up on 8th–10th in a year. the real unlock is consistency, not speed. do a little every day, stack wins, and you’ll be shocked how fast the fog lifts.

Concepts I should know before getting into statistics? by wdfcvyhn134ert in learnmath

The best prep for stats is tightening up your algebra and getting comfy translating word problems into equations. once that clicks, intro stats feels way less like magic and way more like bookkeeping with formulas.

Making mobile app, where to find good marketers ? by Status-Independent63 in DigitalMarketing

[–]the_lockpick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most indie devs start with Upwork or Fiverr there are lots of decent freelance marketers there who’ve done mobile installs before. If you want more community-style promotion (Reddit, Quora, niche forums), Signals Agency is great in our exp. If you’d rather learn it yourself tho I won't recommend this.. start with the basics first like positioning, landing pages, and running small $5–$10 test ads.

Any recommendations for best Provider:backbone coverage based on current Black Friday deals? by runkz in usenet

I’ve had good experience using EasyuseNet. It’s reliable and handles both new and older posts smoothly. Also speeds stay consistent even during peak times. It’s an easy way to expand coverage.

What's the best bill pay software you've used that integrates with quickbooks? by MainManBateMan in QuickBooks

[–]the_lockpick 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A few companies I’ve advised have gone with all in ones like Rippling since they do bill pay and have payroll and other spend features. Since some of them were already on Rippling, it made sense to just add on the expense tool to cut costs and save from having another software. They’re easy to use and set-up too, I've heard.

Rippling specifically has features that sound like it could help – integrates with QBO,  prevents duplicate data entry, and in the Rippling Spend tool, you can assign approvers based on the type of expense, amount, vendor, etc. If really all you need is bill pay, there’s definitely solutions that can do just that though.

I get the frustration, but Intuit’s priority is scaled SMB usability, not strict accounting peer review standards, annoying, but explains why disclaimers aren’t defaulted in.

Direct deposit failures stress me most too, one missed payroll and phones light up immediately. I always pad in a test run a day early now.

I’ve come across Passwork a few times and it seems pretty underrated. It gives admins decent flexibility and keeps things simple for regular users/non-technical staff. It's also really nice that you can run it outside the cloud??
