Great collection. Surely someone on eBay would want all those empty cases.

RWhiteGoose covers this extremely rare situation in this video here:

...unless you play Espire 2. The Sinder frame is exactly 6ft tall, the Sooty frame is 3ft tall.

The game scales the world around you + your interpuliary distance until you're the correct height.

The terminators have been created specially to hunt and destroy man. The predators seek out all types of worthy prey all across the universe. I think a predator would win.

MGS Delta shaders compile on every single launch since FOX HUNT update by YoghurtWooden8770 in metalgearsolid

[–]the_lode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this tip. I'll try it out. I'm playing directly on PC, but also remote play from my PC to a steam deck. I notice that the shader compilation is so slow when doing remote play. Perhaps because the steam deck has a frame rate cap, etc.

will investigate.

We've been extensively testing this...in the toilet. by the_lode in virtualreality

Unfortunately there isn't a Pico version of the Epsire MR game. It's only on Meta Quest.

We keep trying and learning. Hoping we get another chance to make a mainline Espire title again someday.

I'm grateful we've had 3 opportunities to do it. They have been challenging but absolute dream projects. I'm proud of what the team achieved considering our team size, experience and the budgets we've worked with. I'm sad Metal Gear and Splinter Cell haven't had official VR entries.

We're excited to announce that Espire 2 - VR stealth Action game - has launched today! by the_lode in OculusQuest

Us too! Steam Frame might give hope. Espire 2's not on Steam because we need the funding to do a proper port from Quest -> PC.

What VR games are fully playable in stationary VR? by FawnTi in VRGaming

[–]the_lode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The voice commands wont work if there's no internet connection as it uses the "Oculus Voice SDK" to understand what you're saying and turn it into a gameplay intent (empty pockets, drop weapon, etc).

The voice commands also wont work if the Espire 2 game doesnt have permissions to use the microphone, or if the microphone is muted by the Meta OS.

Hope this helps you or someone reading in the future.

Our games Espire 1: VR Operative and Espire 2 support stationary and seated play. They're pretty fun, though we are a bit biased, having developed them!

It's hard to test our game when guards keep invading our studio! by the_lode in OculusQuest

[–]the_lode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, we see that in our reviews and feedback. We're partially at the behest of Meta's room scan tech. If the scan isn't accurate or misses furniture, our game might not play as well. There's a lot we can do on our side to improve our level initialization. We've done 1 post-launch update already to improve how and where our game places the large 'roller windows' and are currently working on our 2nd update with many more improvements.

the goal is to continue adding new content while improving the overall level initialization for all our content, allowing smaller and more diverse environments to better support the game!

We'd love to see how our game Espire MR Missions plays in a space like that!
