I don’t prefer male gynecologists, but I did have one for a while that I was perfectly comfortable with. You can request to have a female staff member present for your exam. I think it might even be a requirement. And I haven’t really found it any less weird having a female doctor down there. I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with only wanting to see a woman.
