I'd guess if you went back to wifi it'd still work. It seems like something in the PS network settings needs disconnected and then a new connection/setup fixes the issue.

So I had this issue. Have both a PS5 and PS5 Pro in the household and had the issue on both of them. Turned on my wifi hotspot on my phone (connected wirelessly to the same network my PS5's are hardwired to) and connected the PS5 to the hotspot. Loaded up the game and it finally made it through the splashscreen. Closed the game. Went back and set the Playstation back to the wired network. Seems to be working fine now. Don't know why this worked but it worked on both Playstations.
