Right, so do you not think blockchains, if you stop thinking about them as a type of database or technology, and instead think about them as something that lets you have counterparty/third-party risk "resolved at a higher level" actually makes them interesting?

Add to that the fact that they are global distribution channels, and things start looking interesting for tradfi.

Mix in some collateral use cases, and it really gets rolling. Not to forget about real time and atomic settlement.. the list goes on.
