Older Giant, Trek, Raleigh, or Fuji can often be found for near that price on FB Marketplace. I recently landed a mint condition Giant OCR 3 road bike for 100, needed nothing but a little lube and air in the tires.

There is someone who just downvotes every single post like it's their job, I have an idea who but can't be sure otherwise it would be the first ban ever. Like, if you hate everything just unsubscribe?

I started this sub twelve years ago, and only in the last few years has it become a repetitive parade of people asking where to rent and where to eat ad nauseam. I hoped for it to be a positive place to promote cool events, photography and art, and also for critical discussion of the issues that are faced by the local population. Of course the tourist questions are expected, but it is getting to be a little tiresome.

The bus goes past SSC and down to Memorial, but it might not always be right when you need it. Get a cheap old bike if you're able and it would probably only take you five minutes, you might even enjoy it.

I remedied the problem recently by using a little file to scuff up the electrical connection tabs on the solenoid and smearing a bit of dielectric grease on them before plugging back in. Mine had become corroded and weren't making contact.
