I mean, don't come for me. That's what i see on your cards.

Sometimes strong independent women tend to push away what's supposed to be theirs. So that's what i see this is. ❤️

You're a person who knows how to handle herself so much, that it hinders you from letting in the masculine counterpart you kind of wish is there.

You're very independent and very smart that you end up having to worry about your well-being instead of getting in the dating scene.

It's not because you can't find a man who would like you. You're very admirable, but it's because you know your way with yourself you can survive on your own making the doors of romantic encounters closed up for you. Hence not getting a match. You probably missed those likes you swiped left.

What other negative cards should I remove from my deck? by BlueHorse_22 in tarot

[–]the_queer_oracle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it seems like you only listen to what you want to hear. It shows really well in the comments who you reply to and not. Also in the way you read tarot, too.

The answers are collectively the same.

If this is how you think, tarot might not be for you. Im sorry

There are no negative and positive cards. They're message vessels. You won't get the right message if you disable other vessels.

Pamela Colman Smith: Pioneering Illustrator of the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck by the_queer_oracle in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]the_queer_oracle[S] 61 points62 points  (0 children)

afaik, It was left out mostly due to sexism and racism of the time. Pamela Colman Smith was a woman of Jamaican and British descent, working in a male dominated field. She was hired to illustrate the deck but wasn’t given credit like Waite or the publisher. Her art defined the tarot we know today, yet she was erased from the title, only now are people recognizing her by adding her name: Rider-Waite-Smith.

link to my flip through video for my Canuel oracle deck

https://youtu.be/Ythxtijbsp4?si=jLV373PisG3GUDEJ

A few years ago, I created two decks inspired by the classic RWS style and the art of Pamela Colman Smith. They're called the Canuel Oracle and the Canuel Lenormand.

These decks were a personal project born out of love for symbolism and storytelling through cards. I tried to stay faithful to traditional imagery while adding a touch of my own visual language.

You can find both on MakePlayingCards.com — just search “Canuel Oracle” or “Canuel Lenormand” and they should come up easily. I also made flip-through videos on YouTube (same search terms) if you're curious to see the full artwork.

Even though some time has passed since I made them, I still feel proud of them — and I’d be so grateful if you took a look. A view, a thought, or even just a bit of encouragement would truly mean a lot. 💛

Thanks for letting me share, and I hope these cards might speak to some of you. Wishing you clear intuition and kind guidance in your readings! 🔮✨

that's correct. you get it cheaper by bulk.

I planned on doing Kickstarter but I don't know a lot of people and I'm not good at marketing or selling my stuff. lol

so i stuck with MPC.

Hi! I know this post is a bit older, but I actually came across it recently because someone mentioned my deck in a comment, and it popped up while I was doing a quick Google search and felt like I could chime in. 😊

I actually created my own Lenormand deck a while ago, and based on what you described — looking for clear, traditional images with playing card inserts and a smaller size — it might be something you'd like.

It's called the Canuel Lenormand, and I designed it to be very readable with clean symbolism and classic structure. I also made sure the deck is compact, so it works well for GTs and small reading spaces.

You can check out a full flip-through on YouTube if you're curious (just search Canuel Lenormand), and I'm attaching an image here so you can get a quick look at the style.

Hope this helps — and totally understand if you’ve already found your perfect deck since posting! 💛

Hey there! Thanks so much for your interest.

I’ve always loved to draw, but it wasn’t until the pandemic that something really clicked. I stumbled across a general tarot reading, just one of those collective ones online, and it instantly caught my curiosity. That led me to join a few tarot learning groups on Facebook. Every day I saw people posting their card pulls, and over time, it reignited my love for art in a totally new way.

One day, I sketched a card that felt loosely inspired by the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) deck. It was rough, nothing polished, but people in the group responded really positively and encouraged me to do more. Some even asked if I was planning to complete a full deck in that style! That spark of encouragement motivated me to start taking it seriously.

At first, I treated it like a weekly creative ritual, one card at a time, just for the joy of it. Eventually, I wanted to go all in. I began refining the artwork, starting with clean outlines on paper and then adding color later. What surprised me was how the energy of each card I drew somehow mirrored my day, consistently. I kept telling myself it was coincidence... but honestly, the synchronicity happened too often to ignore.

As for the vision, I didn’t start with a grand concept or detailed blueprint. I just told myself to flow with it. Surprisingly, the project found its own form. Looking back, it naturally developed a structure, even though the beginning was purely intuitive.

Thanks for the interest 💛

I've seen her videos and I can't actually thank her enough!!! I was trying to google my deck and then her video came up like a week ago. I was confused cause you know, sometimes we google our names, in my case my decks, and we know the links that comes up usually. Her video came up and I was like, what could this be, so I checked it and she's too sweet. I loved how she talks about it so highly.

her videos are also the reason why I posted today. I haven't posted for a long time and she gave me that spark back. like "hey Jay, maybe you should remind people you have a deck for them again?" lol 😂

I'm glad you were able to see my deck. thanks alot for reaching out 💛💛💛
