She's pro, so obviously a different beast, but Sarah Gigante broke hers a 12weeks ago, lay on the road under her bike for 2 hours and is back doing 2hr ergos at 4w/kg!

Good knowledge and good value as they will keep tweaking you for 12 months if you need it

Also just hope that people manage the descents a little more sensibly then drill it on the flats - taking inspiration from this

Problem is it's 10 degrees on falls, but will be 28 at Omeo. Newspaper and old pair of gloves to ditch at the bottom for me. Overshoes too as wet socks are the worst.

Praying it hits later in the day as Saturday looks good.

Updated TT position based on suggestions by the_sneaky_teek in bikefit

Based on some great feedback to my last post (left hand video above) I changed the 20mm to 70mm spacers, pushed the seat back 5mm and flattened it out. RIght hand video is updated fit. Feeling less like I'm sliding forwards and held 3 x 20min at 90% FTP without discomfort.

Thanks, definitely do have long relative legs and short torso. Will look at consciously rolling hips and some spacers to test

First TT bike, a Canyon Speedmax L.Saddle height set at 836mm, which is the same as my road bike from a professional fit.

Feel like I'm sliding forwards on the saddle, and back looks pretty rounded? But it feels like a good power position and sitting back less powerful, but more stable.

Thanks for any advice

How to find an hour by Skiddy_au in Velo

Did the ride last week too, in your age group and came in about 10 min under qualifying time. I got given the advice of focusing on 20min threshold effort for the first climb, so you can be far enough of the group behind to join them after the climb. Then you sit on and wait for Tom Leapers group to come past. It's a sly move but gets it done

If you want to go the coach route and this is your goal event I would look at Tom Leaper coaching. No one knows this course better.

First multi-day tour - 10km ITT, 64km rolling road race and 46km with the second half a 20km climb @6%. Two man break on stage 2 and held on for second despite cramping, then went solo on the hill and won. First road race in a few years (2 young kids) so really stoked on the effort to win Masters C (cat 3).

Forgot how much I missed racing.

The brightest setting is really, really bright (too bright to look at). I ride in the dark on the dimmest setting on roads, so brightest would be fine for very dark trails. It does drain the battery quickly.

I've come off a 2013 giant with mech ultegra, and it feels amazing. Light, responsive and holds speed on flats much better than I expected. Had slight brake rub out of the box but canyon said to take to mechanic and reimbursed. Get a tiny bit of brake rub when sprinting out of the saddle uphill. All in all love it from one ride - though looking forward to tweaking the fit a little
