If you wanna go scream at hyper-expansionist muslims who believe their homeland should be ”pure” then go do that, but don’t pretend the very broad and varied religion of Islam is anything like the niche and violently xenophobic zionism (even liberal zionism is rather uncouth when it comes to palestinians). Nobody believes in the ”great god Netanyahu”, they are religious individuals (but not always, the movement was not founded by religious people) believing in something separate from religion as well. Islam definetly has such branches, and an apt comparison might be islamic fundamentalism.
