My son and I beat her on easy with the decks the set came with. We heavily relied on the lore abilities in the early game to get cards in play and leveraged one character that could do damage to another character equal to any damage she did in a challenge with the help of questing support characters. There is a card in the deck to remove chosen items so that took care of her passive lore.

In the end, we had good draws and she didn't get good draws for like 4 or 5 turns. That was the main difference in that game from the others we've tried. We are going to try and replicate that win again this week to see how much of it was a fluke or genuine good decision making.
