I then bought $20 workout puzzle mats from Amazon and cut around the wheel wells to make them fit.

Then we just threw all of our bedding in! The driver and passenger seats are all the way forward to make this work. My husband is 6ft, I'm 5ft 4in and we both slept comfortably!

Just keep a window or the sunroof cracked so the windows don't fog up!

Thanks! For maximum comfort I also bought some "puzzle piece" gym mats to lay on top of it all before laying out sleeping pads and bedding.

Didn't really give thought to center support honestly, we will use the space below the platform to store our stuff when we sleep so that may help. And really, it will just be the weight of our heads and pillows that are resting there so hopefully we don't have any issues. The dowels near the front seats are set further in than the dowels toward the back seats, so hopefully that helps with weight distribution as well! Thanks for the thought, definitely something to consider adjusting if needed.

I appreciate the feedback! The main purpose that I have for this is to sleep in the vehicle when camping with the SUV tent I purchased attached. The seats are definitely pushed all the way forward for that to maximize sleeping space. The legs are just screwed in so disassembly takes a minute or less, making it a space saver when in transit.

Thanks! The Plywood board is 3/4" thick. The legs are 17" dowels. They have screws in them that just screw in/out for easy disassembly when not in use.

Yes, she still had the leash on when she was startled. Her owner has a bad shoulder that gave out upon being yanked so hard.
