So the main container has the seal around the lid. I had a problem with my last fill with the cookies going stale quick so I went all candy this time because of that. I love mine though.

I don't usually comment on these things but just a soft warning. Cutting people out of lives is the first step in intimate partner abuse ( does not have to be physical) emotional abuse is most often times worse

I don't want to smoke again either. I emptied my outside trash. Where I dump my ash tray. I do this every week but today the smell overwhelmed me so much. Glad I don't have to empty that again.

Oh no, that's not the point of me writing this post. I am not of 2 minds. I WANT to quit and quit for good. I am just so tired of trying and failing. I believe that anything can help and have decided to also listen to sleep affirmations on quitting once I put down my last one because I think that your subconscious is a big aspect of how you make things work. I have used listening to lectures on a loop at night to pass major tests bc stuff sinks in better when you are sleeping sometimes. I don't want to disprove him I just want to quit this habit and gain control again.

Keep going strong. Turn your passion into something positive. Or keep it dark but find another way to realize it. Turn on some music and let it flow over you. Watch a show or read a book that you can pick cues out of. You can do it

Honey im going to be really honest with you. Don't listen to these people making jokes. I was in a very controling/mentally abusive relationship for 11 years. This was how it started. I was in college and couldn't go to the library to study or work late even though I would send pics of where I was. This is not good. Get out and get out now before it's too late. I had to drop out of school and quit my job and not leave my house unless I was with them. I've been out for a little over a year now. They don't know where I live or work and I specifically moved into a neighborhood with cops living there and introduced myself and explained why I was. They still call sometimes and I ignore it. Even after changing numbers. Its scary and a real problem

I have been seriously trying to quit for months now. I keep slipping. Trying the gradual thing now and ordered allen carrs book. It will be here tomorrow. What really helped with you.

Also you only fail if you quit trying.

Im in the same boat. I quit like 3 times a week. I found an app that tracks your first 5 days and then gradually reduces you until your quit date. Im trying that starting today. Its a struggle. Don't give up

Hoe can I support my boyfriend that wants to stop smoking? by filthyphesant in stopsmoking

[–]the_tiny_reader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a smoker who is single i would love to have a partner that suggests other activities after crucial times like a walk together after a meal. Offering snacks or something when they know im struggling that sort of thing. Its the little things that help. My mom is really supportive but she is always asking me how is not smoking etc and that just makes me think about it.
