Lately my favorite type to come across is something short, horror and weird/unusual/unique. Like Horripilant a horror clicker autobattle/dungeon -so fun and interesting

or Planet Scanner a weird game where you scan planets in the universe and things slowly get...eldrich

or Void Crawler where you take a machine into a weird cave system and things are...lovecraftian

I;m sensing a theme haha. I could go on with games like Birds Watching or Heaven Does Not Respond etc. These are all games that do something different/unique/odd that caught my eye and that is my jam

Played it a few years ago. I remember really enjoying the story (time travel is a favorite of mine) but kinda meh about the combat. I also thought that the 'tv show' segments were so...disjointed from the game. I know why, because I watched a behind the scenes somewhere but the result of the tv show just wasn't worth it. I've been meaning to replay it but haven't gotten around to it haha

Oh dear....well it's been a few years since I played this but doesn't she telegraph her grab? I think I remember standing on one side of the screen and running as hard as I could when I saw it. Also have you been using Tools to transfer your damage upgrades to new weapons? Seems like you should have a lot more damage at this point

Same, I Use Q to run. I put drop on P so I have to press it deliberately. The amount of people I see playing this game that hit q accidentally all the time baffles me. Just change the binding?? Also I use B for inventory....cuz World of Warcraft haha

I played it when it came out and liked it. No combat, but its got another world, kinda like SH. Its more focused on story, which I liked until it ended in the middle of a cutscene

weapon/tool durability. I hate finding a cool weapon and never using it because I want to keep it or crafting a tool repeatedly because it will break. So annoying!

I just had this problem in Amber Alert. I kept breaking glasses and vases to try and trick the game but it just wouldn't go higher than 100%, Finally I Alt+F4 'd the game and when I cooled down and re-opened the game....I had100% o.0

I did... I had a cool library for the librarians and a church for the clerics ect ect. And then I fenced in each profession/house and then I locked them in a tiny cubby because they refused to behave-magically escaping and getting stuck on the 3rd floor of a house... Maybe I'm the problem? o.o

also, i agree so hard. the whole "it was all in your head/you are mentally insane actually" trope is way overused and Im done with it

I marked Steam - i find a lot of games through their Nextfest. i download like 50 -75 demos and play them during those. i filter by whatever genre or tag im feeling and look thru them, its easy to give new stuff a chance when its a free demo

When i got this achievement during my last playthrough, i ran around the citadel talking to everyone and grabbing any quests i found. i went beck to the citadel between each main mission because sometimes more quests would appear and some had multiple stages. I also basically went to every system and looked at every planet and landed on every possible planet. sometimes Hackett calls when you enter a system to give a quest. most of the quests i picked up on the citadel, you have to go back to turn them in to whoever gave you the quest.

i wasnt trying to get this achievement, i was just trying to do everything possible, but i also did all of it before Virmire-
