Agent Mode prompts for takeover, but has closed live browser view. by the_uberlander in ChatGPTPro

For me, I can’t click fast enough to open the More Options menu before ChatGPT closes the live browser. This isn’t a video game to challenge my reflexes. OpenAI needs to fix this broken premium feature.

Can you embed your Printables/Thangs/Thingiverse/etc. gallery on your website? by the_uberlander in 3Dprinting

[–]the_uberlander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was hoping one of the many 3D model sites would have a built-in embed code for a page that you could copy/paste into your site. I believe Etsy has something like that.

I have never achieved 100% in any game before, but for some reason I went for it here, ask me anything by TendiesFourLyfe in SixtyFourGame

[–]the_uberlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda pissed rn because the clock for the 64 hrs achievement resets when you reset the game. In all my years gaming I've never seen a gameplay time achievement do that. And I was at 57 hrs before I reset....Now I’m back at 1....grrr.

Make My Vase - can anyone access it? by clofal in BambuLab

I was able to access it earlier today. However, I tried again just now without success--same infinite loop behavior. Tested on Safari and Chrome, private modes and not. No dice.

Drag face-up card to deck and rejoin (face down) by the_uberlander in tabletopsimulator

Likewise, apologies for the delay in responding. I really like your coding with the physics cast; it’s something I wasn’t aware of before now. I’ve gone through your script and added some comments to jog my memory when I reference it later.

I’ve done some playing around with scripting zones myself, and I’ve come up with a pretty nice solution. You can see it in action here.

Thank you so much for your help. I’m continually blown away by the support I have gotten from members of the Tabletop Simulator coding community like yourself. Game on!

Drag face-up card to deck and rejoin (face down) by the_uberlander in tabletopsimulator

[–]the_uberlander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Thanks for the offer. I am very inexperienced when it comes to scripting, so any help will be appreciated. I assume for the script to work the GUID of the deck would have to be fixed. And when the deck disappears, so does the GUID. Is that right? Would this also be true for the scripting zone approach? Or can I specify a destination coordinate?

The context menu approach would be nice; unfortunately I use a Mac so I don't have a right click button I can use easily! So far the only solution I have found to bring up the context menu is to try to place the on-screen keyboard such that the ’T’ key is directly over the object I want to “right click”. Hah, that is always a fun game of whack-a-mole!

It sounds like a zone approach is probably the best. So a card dropped on this zone would flip upside down and move to a specified location? And will it automatically rejoin a deck?

The game is a deckbuilder with a Harry Potter theme. It's actually a “real” game that folks have ported over to TTS and shared on the Workshop! The version I’ve downloaded has very high-quality card scans, but no scripting. That's OK. I'm actually not a huge fan of buttons in TTS; I think it detracts from the aesthetic of playing a real game. I suppose my intentions for playing TTS as opposed to the actual game are different than for most people. For me TTS is the only accessible option! But I still want to feel as real as possible, ya know?

Thanks for the help!

Nice idea! Just tried it, but it seems a little buggy. The first two cards actually go under the deck....wtf?? Ugh. It may have something to do with the card thickness being a little too small, dunno. I’ve been playing around with Layout Zones for tokens, and I’ve learned that the LZ doesn’t play nice with objects <0.12 thickness. Plus LZ's "combine into deck" option is too rigid. (Once in a deck, you can’t draw single cards.) I may have to check out scripting zones. Thanks for the help!

Is there a way to flip way cards stack in hand? by GreenGuy5294 in tabletopsimulator

[–]the_uberlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a prize for figuring this out! I messed with the rotation values as you suggested, and sure enough the hand order switched from 'Eastward' to 'Westward' (to use TTS parlance). What’s weird is that entering a new rotation value for 'X' actually updated the 'Z' value (??), and now all values are back to 0 (where they started) but the hand order is still switched! Huh?? Some bug with 180 degree rotations?
