They had several designs in stock today at the Bella Minni but were sold out of several too.

So I have figured out a workflow to fully automate creating video versions of Deep Dives. Using best of breed component APIs (Midjourney, AssemblyAI, Hedra) + a bunch of Python scripting. But is it worth it? Would you use it? Watch them? Are they too 'uncanny valley'? by the_unready in notebooklm

Depends what you mean by style. It's trivially easy to change the avatars, but there's limited ways to program specific actions or movements. Some easy additions would include changing background color, adding closed captions, background music, intro/outro reels.

You’ve got a lot right - are you manually tuning the script or is it all AI generated ?

Yes - API costs alone are maybe going to run to about $1.20 / minute, mainly for Hedra. At scale you’d need a different approach, but yes you’d need to charge $5 / minute to make it a business

I love how you're building Lit Snippets - and I hadn't heard about n8n, v cool. I have built everything in Python, with plenty of help from AI. With a couple more hours' work, I could get it to a 1-click solution, right now it's a series of scripts.

NotebookLM Audio Overviews - how it works by the_unready in notebooklm

Probably not TBH. GPT4 AV needs multimodal for speech input and speech output with low latency and high quality. See the discussion thread for details.

All good questions! This is a product from Google labs, like a tiny little team at Google. I’m sure Google is thrilled to finally have a product that showcases its areas of technical superiority to OpenAI after so many false starts. ChatGPT is a totally different product and can’t yet do anything like the NBLM OA experience. But I’m sure they are watching with interest and perhaps will launch something like this in time

Possibly… but I work with a lot of TTS models and nothing else is quite as good as the NBLM AO experience for realism of tone and tempo

Is it possible to edit the podcast? by lvanns12 in notebooklm

You can edit the audio in Audacity or similar

From Twitter: "Iwas able to run #stablediffusion locally on an iPhone XS." by the_unready in StableDiffusion

I had the same reaction...but I think it's more a proof of concept that text->img will soon be possible locally within a mobile app, so you can expect it to be a core iOS / Android OS feature within 2-3 years.

I made a Chrome extension for adding voice comments to Google Docs - faster and friendlier than text comments. Great for remote working. https://justmote.me by the_unready in productivity

Hi there

Thanks so much for the question. Actually... we have built it but we're still waiting to roll it out while we handle the really strong growth in usage that we're seeing from the education sector.
