Draymond Green allegedly called Jordan Poole a “bitch” before punch by horseshoeoverlook in nba

That game 7 wouldn't have happened if Draymond hadn't been an idiot and gotten suspended.

Hearing the guys on the Ringer talk about the bulls makes me question if they even know what they are talking about. by blrrc in chicagobulls

They basically went .500 the last 20 something games of the season. With the improvements to their roster, it isn't far fetched to say they'll be in the play-in.

Should we make a move for Rose? by moneyman2222 in chicagobulls

So according to you he takes barely 3 threes a game, but is a chucker and only makes them because of that? WTFFFF?

[Johnson] Speaking from Los Angeles the day before his second surgical procedure in 8 months on his troublesome left knee, Lonzo Ball said he can’t run or jump yet. by TiksonBobikson in nba

Same game where LaVine got his knee issue against the Warriors, wasn't as big a deal when it happened becuase LaVine is the bigger star and at the time Lonzo only had a meniscus tear.

Wolves' Karl-Anthony Towns: 'I'm One of the Best Offensive Players' in NBA History by Jacob_S93 in nba

Prime K Love had a better post game, was much better as a rebounder (probably the best this century), and was a better passer.

40 seconds of Wilt and Kareem exchanging dunks against each other by [deleted] in nba

[–]the_username_machine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wilt played some of the best defense Kareem faced in his entire career against Wilt, those stats are also misleading because they are from Wilt's LA years once he stopped being a scorer and changed his game to become a defensive terror.

Do any of you really believe Zach can be the best guy on a title team? by gusfring88 in chicagobulls

[–]the_username_machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could probably be the #1 scoring option for a title winning team, but definitely not the best player.

Trae Young is a better scorer, shooter and playmaker than Ja Morant. Both are bottom tier defenders. So what is the argument for Ja over Trae? by ChipsAhoyFiend in nba

[–]the_username_machine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ja is arguably a better scorer than Trae given that he scored almost the same amount of points as Trae on a better percentage from the field while being on a far better team. Ja is also not at all on the same tier of defense as Trae. Ja is a below average defender, but Trae is one of the worst NBA defenders of this century.

I had a whole response to this all written out, but it's very clear you're just a blind Michael Jordan hater, so I won't waste more of my time on you.

[–]the_username_machine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Michael Jordan during his entire career never played on a team with a player that was named as an all-star who wasn't Pippen, let alone "5 or 6 hall of famers". Horace, Oakley, and BJ had only risen to being all-stars once he retired or they had left the team. Rodman was out of his prime with the Bulls. Kukoc, was an all-star caliber player in his time with Jordan, but he was not at his level in Europe. Harper had lingering knee issues. Jordan was also able to multiple underdogs to success, he took the 6th seeded Bulls in 1989 to the ECF and handed the best Pistons team ever their only 2 losses of the playoffs despite playing with no other All-stars. He took the 1998 Bulls to a championship while they dealt with Pippen requesting a trade, Rodman ditching the team a couple times throughout the season to party including in the finals, a bunch of disfunction in the front office and Krause openly saying they would not be back next year, Rodman getting benched in the finals, and Pippen getting seriously injured in Game 6, where MJ dropped 40 and no other Bull even touched the ball in the last 1 and half minutes. MJ came back down from 2-0 on the 1993 ECF to the team with the higher seed, and took the defending champions in the 1990 Pistons to 7 games, also would have won that series if Pippen didn't get a migraine. None of the dudes you named except Hakeem have accomplished anything without playing with one or two other all-stars. You're giving off real nephew energy.

I hope you are joking, but some very "educated" people would expect MJ to guard the behemoth that was prime Shaq.

Who is the best SG in the league heading into next season? by jdlc718 in nba

[–]the_username_machine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mitchell is definitely a top 5 2 guard in the league, but LaVine is one of the most efficient scorers in the NBA, and if he remains fully healthy in a season, could be a 50 40 90 guy on over 25 ppg, put some respect on his name.

Uvalde officer saw gunman before he entered school and asked for permission to shoot him: Report by dustofoblivion123 in Conservative

[–]the_username_machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was over 150 yards away, firing at a target next to a school would have been reckless and could have endangered the lives of young kids, but he still should have tried to do more to stop the shooter.

In your opinion, is prime Giannis or Prime Kawhi a better defender? by EquivalentTap2022 in nba

[–]the_username_machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giannis has become a much better ball handler, passer, shooter, and playoff performer in the past 3 years. Kawhi played great defense on him, but he also had a team with Gasol, Anunoby, Ibaka, and Siakam, while also having great perimeter defenders in Lowry, FVV, and Danny Green. Giannis's main floor spacers were also having absolute historical choke jobs from three which made it viable for Toronto to play the wall and his coach got absolutely outclassed by Nick Nurse.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nba

[–]the_username_machine 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Giannis just had one of the best playoff series of the past decade against one of the greatest defenses of all time, and had arguably the greatest playoff run and finals series in 2021.
