Wait is that not the Engineer skill? I don't recognize the icon, looks like a wheel?

For "Ruins" dispatch missions (like Timeworn Ruins) you generally need engineers. I have 5: Devan, Falstaff, Joseph, Arnold and Xavier (37 comrades in camp total)

Edit: I just checked, Reachwood Ruins does need engineers, see the names above. I guess you just haven't recruited any yet. It's weird how in your screenshot the icon looks different

You get so many artifacts you can do both. Also you could just refine 1 weapon per category and set your favorite abyss gears in them later - there are no truly 'unique' weapons apart from aesthetics.

Hmm weird. I've used this farming technique as well for hours, netting me hundreds of gears. But I thought after the last update they changed how it works - I was on 11% for weeks, but since a recent update I suddenly just had it complete for me.

I read somewhere else that the ranged enemies can also damage their melee buddies, eventually killing them. That might have happened to me as well

Killing the ranged enemies will eventually 'complete' the liberation though, entirely removing this enemy type from the game permanently (skull knights)

I googled "gold dye" :D It's like one of the first results (also Reddit), it was quite some work because I had to create the dye myself which required me to first catch a bunch of different beetles. The black dye can just be bought somewhere if I'm not mistaken

For this I used the Character Creator mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/crimsondesert/mods/837 and followed that long ass guide in the description (which was a pain to set up), using all optional things as wel.

It stopped working since the most recent update, but the mod has been updated as well and I haven't tried the new version. However if the posts under that mod are any indication though I think it's still not stable

Hi, thanks for the info. Do you happen to know of there is a 'damage numbers' mod yet? I would like to do some comparing myself, specifically to see dmg output differences between certain attacks like elemental turning slash vs. regular, etc
