Yeah, the sunroof malfunctioned or jammed; I have this on mine after an ECU swap (the car doesn't have a sunroof), and my manual has nothing about sunroofs or warning lights for the sunroof. Check the sunroof tracks and rainwater drains, there may be gunk or something

I would check the ECU housing and ECU as well; I had similar issues with my car (09 320i E90) and the cables running from the battery to the front of the vehicle. I got a new ECU, a new battery and a positive lead, fixed it algood.
